Welcome to McGowan Motor Company

Thank you for visiting the McGowan Motor Company eBay store.

We specialise in supplying genuine new and used/reclaimed automotive parts. We aim to provide quality parts, fast dispatch and excellent customer service on every order.

🔧 ITEM CONDITION

We sell both new and used/reclaimed genuine parts.

Please check the condition tab and all listing photographs carefully before purchasing, as the exact condition of the part will vary from item to item.

Used/reclaimed parts may have cosmetic signs of previous use, including minor marks, scratches or other signs of wear. Any significant cosmetic imperfections will be shown in the listing photographs where possible.

If you’re unsure about the condition, please message us before purchasing.

🔍 COMPATIBILITY & PART NUMBERS

In an ideal world, matching your original part number to the part number listed on our item is the best way to confirm compatibility.

However, we now use AI-powered systems and vehicle data to cross-reference parts, helping us identify potential matches and reduce the chance of you ordering the wrong item.

If you’re unsure whether a part will fit your vehicle, send us your registration, VIN/chassis number and/or original part number and we’ll do our best to help confirm compatibility before dispatch.

Our average response time is under 1 hour, so please don’t hesitate to ask.

RETURNS

RETURNS - 30 DAYS

We offer a 30-day return period, in line with the applicable eBay buyer protections and our returns policy.

If you need to return an item, it must be returned in the same condition and with the same packaging as it was sent out.

We use unique markings and identification methods on our parts and packaging to protect both our customers and our business from incorrect or substituted returns.

Please ensure the correct item is returned to us before a refund is processed.

For change-of-mind, incorrect ordering or compatibility issues, return postage costs are the buyer's responsibility, unless otherwise required under applicable consumer law or eBay policy.

If you're unsure about compatibility, please message us before purchasing. We'd much rather double-check the part with you than have you incur unnecessary return costs.

CODING & PROGRAMMING

CODING & PROGRAMMING

Please be aware that certain automotive components may require coding, programming, calibration or specialist equipment after installation.

This can include, but is not limited to:

• Radars
• Ballast packs
• Control modules
• Parking sensors
• Other electronic vehicle components

We strongly recommend discussing the requirements with a qualified and capable automotive technician or garage before purchasing.

McGowan Motor Company cannot guarantee that a component will operate correctly without the required coding, programming or calibration.

OVERSIZED ITEMS

OVERSIZED ITEMS - OVER 150CM

Items over 150cm may require a specialist courier.

These deliveries can take approximately 3-4 working days, and text/email tracking updates will normally be provided throughout the delivery process.

Due to the additional cost and specialist handling required for oversized items, return costs for change-of-mind or incorrect ordering are not covered by us, unless otherwise required under applicable consumer law or eBay policy.

Please make sure the item is correct for your vehicle before purchasing.

We will always try to double-check compatibility with you via eBay messages before dispatch where possible, helping to prevent unnecessary delivery.
